Scottish Tartans Authority Tartan

Adopted by the Scottish Tartans Authority as its official tartan on the principle that rather than design a new one, they should use an existing pattern. As No 060 it is an 1819 'Fashion' tartan from the famous Wilsons of Bannockburn weavers. In its new role as the identifying tartan for the the Scottish Tartans Authority  it has become a respected Corporate tartan.
